Our process

In the foundery we have gathered the processes that offers a costeffective manufacturing of components.

Semisolid casting - Rheocasting.

With Rheocasting (RheoMetal AB). we achieve a number of advantages such as:

  • Reduced porosity rate due to laminar fill instead of turbulent fill.
  • Several alloys are available through rheocasting that are both weld able and heat treatable.
  • Tool life up to double shot numbers due to colder melt by 100 degrees compared to HPDC.
  • Smaller machine sizes can be used due to lower casting pressure.
  • More functions can be casted for example holes down to M2,5
  • With right settings very thin walls are achievable down to 0,5 mm with drafts to 0,2 - 1 degrees.

High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC).

We have total of 7 DC machines all equipped with robots and vacuum.

In Skillingaryd:

  • 400 ton, 2 pcs
  • 630 ton, 1 pcs
  • 800 ton, 1 pcs

In Suzhou:

  • 400 ton, 1 pcs
  • 800 ton, 2 pcs

Deburring are made with trimming, tumbling and shotblasting.

Overmolding.

Overmoulding are a process where different polymers and rubber materials are casted onto a component of metal. The combination possibilities are very big and following characterics can be achieved, for example:

  • Sealing toward outer environment
  • Damping
  • Grips
  • Insulations toward heat/cold
  • Cosmetic surfaces

Dispensing.

Dispensing of gaskets as sealing towards outer environmetal and EMC gaskets for electronic sealing. Used to enhance protection towards EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) as for instance a aluminum casting provide.

Automation with flexible programming.

Here we manufacture a number of sub processes fully automatic. Our automation philosophy with flexible production cells give following advantages.

  • Simple programming which fast can be adapted to different components.
  • Fully equipped with vision.
  • Built in subprocesses for quick setting times
  • 3 automatic CNC production cells with 2 CNC Centers/line
